Podcasting is a great way to find new readers for your free online short stories because it reaches out to people who like stories to be read to them. I’ve just started to pod cast with my short pod-cast Christmas story Three Christmas Lovers.

Everybody has a story in them - without doubt. But if you want the reader to read on past the first paragraph you need to grab them by the scruff of their necks, intrigue and entice them into reading more.

If you want them to remember your story, they must go away feeling entertained.

So here are four ideas to help you in your quest for the perfect story.
